Vision Statement
- To provide quality health care for the urban and rural poor.
- To disseminate information and enhance awareness in areas of early diagnosis of diabetes; diabetic Control and Care.
- Early diagnosis of High Blood Pressure and motivation to asymptomatic people to keep their blood pressure under regular control; To prevent end organ damage to Heart, Brain, Eyes and Kidneys.
- General awareness of good health with special reference to right diet exercise, physical activity and avoiding Obesity.
- Most importantly to screen for asymptomatic kidney diseases. Their early diagnosis and subsequently total kidney Care.
- Kidney Transplantation: Facilitating ethical live renal transplantation. Improve awareness in general public for brain dead patients’ organ donation (Cadaver transplantation). To do regular social activities specially on print and TV to foster organ donation in a big way.
- Regular follow up of transplant patients.to oversee that they are in good health. Special emphasis would be placed on compliance of patients so their transplanted kidneys do not face rejection. Poor people would be provided free or heavily subsidized immunosuppressive medicines. Patients living in overcrowded places would be taught about hygienic way of life which would reduce their chances of catching infections.
